It’s difficult to find a bar that can remove your mind from focusing on what’s going on the other side of the door. It’s even more difficult when you’re in a place like Vegas. The Golden Tiki uses the best of the Tiki world to accomplish this.
From the second you start approaching the door, you know you are stepping into something different. With arrows surrounding the door, you are lead to believe a fellow adventurer had a close call when seeking the wonders within. The amount of detail put into the entrance alone is just a taste of what your in store for.
As you enter the bar you are instantly taken to a Tiki fans heaven. Colored lighting, interesting tribal findings, a water feature and a mummified human head are just one of the many things you will find while exploring the area. This place is not just about drinks, it’s about the experience.
You could probably spend hours and still not see everything The Golden Tiki has. They not only off oddities but a bit a history throughout. You may find the retired pirate from the old Treasure Island show “hanging” out next to the pregnant mermaid, the large amount of hidden dicks throughout the place or the hallway to the bathrooms that puts some roadside attractions to shame. TIP: Ask if they can give you the tour so you don’t miss out on the extra cool things.
The amount of detail and the small call outs to Disney just pull you in. To add to the fun, you can listen to two “fowl” mouth birds or just spend your time sipping your drink and looking at the shooting stars on their ceiling.
But we all know a Tiki bar can’t be a Tiki bar without the drinks! The Golden Tiki offers a large number of drinks, including Dole Whip which they are very proud of. And why shouldn’t they?! Who hasn’t been to a Disney park and thought, this is good but you know what could make it better? RUM!

Their drinks all use the best ingredients possible and you can taste the care they take in each one of their drinks. They really seem to care about what they are serving you which is a rare thing in the land of free drinks and slot machines. I had myself two drinks:
Lime in the Coconut – Don Q Cristal, Malibu Rum, combined with Giffard Orgeat and fresh lime.
Pain Killer – Pussers Rum, Dole Whip, fresh orange juice, fresh pineapple juice and coconut cream. Finally topped with nutmeg.
Both absolutely delicious and dangerous. On top of the delicious drink, you can set a lime with a sugar cube on fire for just $1.
The Golden Tiki takes your mind away from the behemoth casinos and millions of tourists waiting for you just outside and transports you to a Tiki Paradise that is a must-visit for any Tiki lover.
